YMCA Day Camp

CAMP BUDDIES FOR A SUMMER FRIENDS FOR LIFE

YMCA Day Camp is a safe and fun way to enjoy summer. Kids age 3 to kids entering 5th grade can make new friends, learn new skills and have fun. This summer we are offering weekly sessions of YMCA Day Camp all summer. The kids will be participating in daily crafts, physical activities, games, and swimming at the Le Mars Outdoor Pool in the afternoons. Each week we will be enjoying field trips to new fun places. Bring your walking shoes because we will be walking to local parks and other sites for more fun! Afternoon snacks will be provided by camp counselors at camp. Each camper will need to bring their own sack lunch, water bottle and sunscreen each day. YMCA Day Camp is offered in a group setting, we are able to provide some accommodations, however we are unable to provide one-on-one care. Summer camp is one of the most cherished childhood memories. Join our camp counselors this summer for another season of fun and adventure.

**ALL paperwork must be completed and turned in prior to registration. You are not registered until we have all paperwork and payment in FULL.

AGE:

Youth age 3 to entering 5th grade

Days/Times:

8:00am-5:00pm

Classroom 1:

K-2nd grade: maximum of 26 kids

Classroom 2:

Ages 3-5: maximum of 14 kids

Classroom 3:

3rd-5th grade: maximum of 40 kids

Registration:

Camp registration begins online/in-house on February 5th, 2024. Campers will register for their classroom based on the grade they are entering in the fall of 2024.

Deadline:

Monday before the start date. Our camp fills up quickly, but a waiting list is available.

Fee:

$160/week plus $15 deposit

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance is available (may take up to a week to hear back).

Week 1: June 3-7

Week 6: July 15-19

Week 2: June 10-14

Week 7: July 22-26

Week 3: June 17-21

Week 8: July 29- August 2

Week 4: June 24-28

Week 9: August 5-9

Week 5: July 8-12
