5/31/08 - Hopefully Summer is on it's way. We have the outdoor pool ready to go but the rainy, cool days have not let us open. Come check out the many programs we have going this summer. Tennis lessons, Apple Tree Day Camp for the very young, Day Camp at the Municipal Park, and our 13th Annual 3-on-3 Basketball tourney during Ice Cream Days. This event happens to fall on Friday the 13th of June. We have lots of other things going on. Stop into the YMCA and register today!
4/7/08 - Has Spring sprung? We sure hope so as we begin Spring programs. Soccer begins this week and Little Sluggers T-Ball will begin at the start of May. The YMCA's Healthy Kids Day Event will be held this Saturday morning here at the YMCA for kids ages 9 -12. A physical fitness challenge will be this year's event. Don't forget, the Hershey Track Meet is also right around the corner. That will be held on Sunday, April 27th at Jim Lorenzen Stadium. Hope to see you all at one or more of our events and also come by and try the Y if you haven't been in our facility.
3/3/08 - The Le Mars YMCA's Easter Family Night is coming soon. The main event for this holiday family night will be an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt!! The youngersters(0-5 year olds) will be doing their Easter Egg Hunt around the splash pad area. Bring your swim suit and join the fun at the YMCA Indoor Aquatic Center. It takes place on Sunday, March 16th from 5PM - 7PM. Cost is $5/Person or $20/Family. Bring a health and beauty item or socks to donate to the Christian Needs Center and receive $5 off a family admittance.
11/27/07 - TRY THE Y 2007! The City of Le Mars YMCA is hosting a Holiday Open House December 15th and 16th from 1-5pm to showcase the new things that will be happening just in time to fit everyone's New Year's resolution. We will be open for everyone (children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult) to come in and check us out. Bring your sweats and swimsuits and expect to try: the new cardio equipment, group fitness class demonstrations, swimming, supervised child watch (this open house only so you are able to try things out), snacks, membership specials, and more!!

10/30/2007 - Today marks the arrival an impressive new array of equipment to our Cardio Room. Additions include new treadmills, ellipticals, arc trainers and stationary bicycles so be sure to come by and check it out.

10/28/2007 - The First Annual Le Mars YMCA Halloween party went off successfully. Kids and parents enjoyed festivities ranging from carnival games, a costume contest, and Pizza Ranch pizza. Click here to see a few photos from the event!
